Summerworks Theatre Festival is a juried theatre festival showcasing many styles of theatre at a very high level. This year I am thrilled to be a part of Melancholy Play, a comedy by Sarah Ruhl, a Pulitzer-nominated playwright. I am honoured to be creating and playing the accompanying music on solo cello. The cast is incredible and hilarious. It's a show not to be missed!
This is a juried show- so please come out and laugh out loud! We are at the Factory Theatre Mainspace 125 Bathurst at Adelaide, incidentally featuring one of the nicest patios to hang before and after shows.
Tickets at www.summerworks.ca or 416-504-7527

quasiMODAL returns for two new shows at Labspace Studio:
We are featuring our "favourite fourth" Rob Hoare from Berlin- getting the four of us together is a yearly event and not to be missed! Rob joins us on horns and laptop- a delightful mix of comedy and musical genius. Together we have a fantastic time- and, there's more! We will be joined in the second set by MiMo, an innovative duo on electronics, pulse, beats and live percussion mixing it up with our live improvisations. These two are widely respected for their highly developed skills and we are really looking forward to this evening. Read more about MiMo at http://www.mimomusic.com/about.html

quasiMODAL rejoins at Labspace for an evening of "Pinhole Stories". This is a small collection of short stories I have written from my life and will be read as tone poems with live improvisations. The stories are short and illustrate some of the influences that have shaped my current musical path. This venture will be a major undertaking for me and I am blessed with the support of many in this project. Daunting- but exciting! Please join us for this evening of music-meets-life!
Please join us for these two very different evenings; Labspace a great venue with a wonderful neighbourhood vibe and local beer too. You can visit them here at www.labspacestudio.com
